Mammillaria pectinata, Engelm. St. simple: tubercles quadrangular at base, conical above; areoles round-oblong: spines 16-24, yellowish, laterally compressed at base, stiff, pectinate, somewhat recurved: fls. 2 ½ in. diam.; petals broadest above, obtusish. Pecos River and Leon Springs, Texas.
