Manihot palmata, Muell. Arg. (Jatropha palmata, Vell.). Shrubby: lvs. deeply 5-11-parted, glabrous, base cordate; lobes of leaves, 3-5 in. long, lanceolate, acuminate; stipules small, deciduous: fls. racemose to sub-paniculate; calyx ¾ in. long, glabrous: caps, not wing-angled. S. Brazil.
