Standard Cyclopedia of Horticulture

Masdevallia carderi, Reichb. f. Cespitose, with strong ascending foliage and hanging spotted 1-fld. peduncles: lvs. oblanceolate, 3-5 in. long: peduncles green-bracted, 3 in. long; fls. bell-shape, ¾in. across exclusive of the tails, white, with purple and yellow bars at the base; tails very slender and spreading, 1 in. long, yellow; petals small, white, linear-oblong and obtuse. Colombia. B.M. 7125.—A graceful and pretty species.
