Masdevallia corniculata, Reichb. f. Sts. short and tufted: lvs. spatulate, very short-pointed, mostly exceeding the 1-fld. peduncles: fls. with yellow, inflated calyx-tube, which is spotted with brown and ribbed, bearing long, very slender brown tails; petals yellow. Colombia. Var. inflata, Veitch. Paler in color, and with smaller spots; lobes broader and golden yellow. Colombia. B.M. 7476.
