Micromeria chamissonis, Greene (M. Douglasii, Benth. Thymus Chamissonis, Benth.). Yerba Buena. Perennial: sts. long, slender, trailing and creeping, with sweet-scented round or oval lvs., 1 in. or less across: fls. purplish, mostly solitary in the axils, on long 2-bracted pedicels. Woodlands, from Vancouver Isl. to S. Calif.—Sandy soil. Roots by stolons.
