Moorea (named in 1890 for F. W. Moore, curator of the Glasnevin Botanic Garden, Ireland). Orchidaceae. One handsome warmhouse orchid, something like Houlletia, from which it differs in the lip having no claw and being articulated with the foot of the column and the midlobe or epichile not articulated with the hypochile.
