Pandanus variegatus, Miq. St. branched, emitting roots: lvs. narrow-lanceolate, very narrowly attenuate or even filiform above, pale green, striped or variegated with white or pale green or the younger ones all white, the prickles or spines whitish and purplish. Polynesia. —Probably plants cult, as P. javanicus and P. Candelabrum var. variegatus belong here. CH
