Paphiopedilum Chamberlainianum, Pfitz. (Cypripedium Chamberlainianum, O'Brien). Lvs. up to 1 ft. long and 1 1/2 in. wide, narrowly white-margined: scape much exceeding lvs., several-fld., grayish brown, densely pilose, nodding; fls. about 4 in. greatest diam.; dorsal sepal almost orbicular, emarginate, the basal margin reflexed, white-ciliate, green, suffused with brown at base, the curved nerves brown: petals about 1 1/4 in. long, linear, spreading, twisted, long-ciliate, green, marked with small purple spots in lines along the nerves; lip about as long as sepals, pale green, with many violet dots.
