Vanda teres, Lindl. Fig. 3903. St. long, climbing: lvs. terete, 6-8 in. long: peduncle 6-12 in. long, bearing a 3-6-fld. raceme: fls. 4 in. across; sepals nearly orbicular, white tinged with rose; petals a little larger, deep rose; side lobes of the labellum broad, incurved, yellow spotted with crimson, middle lobe exceeding the sepals, fan-shaped, reniform, purple or rose-colored. May- Sept. Burma.—A plant of straggling habit, but with very beautiful fls. Var. Andersonii, Hort., has fls. larger and more highly colored. Var. alba, Hort. Fls. white.
