Pentstemon Bridgesii, Gray. Sts. 1-2 ft., from a somewhat woody base, glabrous or perhaps puberulent up to the thyrse: lvs. lanceolate to linear: peduncles 1-5-fld., short, glandular; corolla about 1 in. long, bright scarlet, narrow, the lips one-third length of tube; anthers sagittate.
