They are all robust, although varying much in stature and in color of fl. Athlete, Hort. (Megasea Athlete, Hort.), said to be a fine variety. Brilliant, Hort. (S. cordifolia var. Brilliant, Hort. Megasea Brilliant, Hort.). Lvs. large, richly tinted in autumn and winter: fls. purple; calyx and pedicels crimson, compacta, Hort. (Megasea compacta, Hort.). Fls. bright rose, corrugata, Hort. (S. cordifolia var. corrugata, Hort. Megasea corrugata, Hort.). Dwarf habit: lvs. large and rough: fls. pink. Croesus, Hort. (Megasea Croesus, Hort.). Very pretty with red fls. Delia, Hort. (Megasea Delia, Hort.). Fls. crimson-purple. Distinction, Hort. (Megasea Distinction, Hort.). Dwarf crowded habit, with enormous head of pale pink or rosy purple fls. Magnet, Hort. (Megasea Magnet, Hort.). Fls. rose. Progress, Hort. (Megasea Progress, Hort.). A free-growing plant, with tall scapes of rosy purple, bell-shaped fls. which are 1 1/4 in. across. Puck, Hort.
