Saxifraga kewensis, Hort. (S. Burseriana var. macrantha X S. Friderici-Augusti). About 2-3 in. high with the lvs. of the latter parent but the cushioned habit of the former: sts. pale glandular-hairy; bracts red tipped with green: fls. intermediate in shape; sepals deep red and glandular, while the petals are rose, much deeper colored toward their base.
