Sempervivum schnittspahnii, Lagg. (S. Funkii, Lej.). Rosette medium-sized, open, the young ones on straight peduncles 1/2 - 1 in. long: lvs. of rosette ovate-lanceolate, with a short hair point, glabrous, margin white-ciliate, dark green, tip red-brown, keeled beneath; cauline lvs. lanceolate: fl.-st. erect, furrowed, at top slightly winged, white-hairy: fls. brown-rose, later rose, more than 6-merous; petals broadly lanceolate.
