Senecio prainianus, Berger. Shrub, about 3 ft. high: lvs. long-petiolate, ovate-deltoid, or suborbicular, 5-7 in. broad, palmately 7-9-lobed, cordate at the base, somewhat hispid above, pubescent on the prominent nerves beneath: infl. a terminal much-branched drooping panicle; heads rayless. S. Mex. G.C. III. 50, p. 82 (whence the above description, and from which the plant would seem to be a Cacalia).—Said to be a very ornamental plant resembling the following species. CH
