Perennial, densely pubescent: sts. 4-6 in. long, leafy, subsimple, glandular-villous above: lvs. lanceolate or linear-lanceolate, 1-nerved, acute or somewhat obtuse: fls. cymose, 1-7-fld., white; calyx pubescent, rather viscid, whitish, campanulate; petals 2-lobed: caps. ovate. Asia Minor and Syria. CH
