Sorbus vilmorinii is a species of Rowan tree. It grown as an exotic ornamental tree for its attractive berries. The flowers are white, follow by light-pink fruit which can last through winter. It can grow to 5 m tall. It originated from China. It was introduced to Europe in the 1800s.

Sorbus vilmorinii, Schneid. (Cormus foliolosa, Franch.). Shrub or small tree, to 20 ft.: lvs. slender; rachis slightly winged; lfts. 19-29, opposite or nearly so, oblong-elliptic, serrate above the middle, glabrous, 1/2 – 3/4 in. long: infl. loose, 1-3 in. wide, rusty-pubescent; fls. 1/4 in. across; stamens about 20; styles 3, nearly glabrous: fr. globose, red, 1/3 in. across. June: fr. in Sept. W. China.—A very graceful shrub. CH
