Stapelia pulchella, Mass. Sts. 2-4 in. high, erect or decumbent at base, obtusely 4-angled, glabrous, green: fls. usually 3 or more together, near the base of the sts.; corolla 1 1/4 -2 1/4 in. diam., smooth on the back, minutely tuberculate - rugulose and glabrous inside, not ciliate, sulfur-yellow, covered with numerous purple-brown dots, lobes sometimes narrowly edged with purple-brown.
